Abstract Postharvest pests are the biggest problem during storage, so it is necessary to monitor for control measures. This study aims population using two systems of monitoring methods. research was conducted in three regencies where Bulogs rice stored. The namely direct and indirect method. Direct carried out by determining five sample points diagonally, each point measuring 1×1 m then directly all insects pest found. While were taking samples a probe with times at collected weighed as much 300 grams count rice. Monitoring made on comodities that had been fumigated months. results showed highest postharvest found visual method Cryptolestes , Tribolium lowest Rhyzopertha .
